The Lonely Victorian

This adorable little Victorian home stands alone on the corner of 14th and Magnolia in the Core City neighborhood of Detroit.

While it is located outside of Woodbridge, many homes of similar architectural styles can be found further east.

But those homes stand together and are in far less danger of demolition.

Though most of its siblings were wiped out, it has managed to survive.

A diamond in the rough – completely surrounded by newly built town homes and condominiums, endangered by the possibility of growing gentrification efforts and the expansion of neighboring development projects.

Only time will tell what the future holds for this little gem…

…And if someone will come along to save it from its dreaded demise.
